1. About the Platform

VerdeShell ("we", "us", "our") operates a cloud-based Talent Acquisition and Interview Management Platform. The Career Portal ("Portal") is the candidate-facing side of this platform, accessible via web browser and mobile application, where you can discover job opportunities, submit applications, track your hiring progress, and manage your professional profile.

VerdeShell is a technology platform provider. We do not act as an employer, recruiter, staffing agency, or employment consultant. Organizations ("Employers") independently post jobs, review applications, and make all hiring decisions through our platform. We facilitate the connection but are not a party to any employment relationship.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Portal, you ("Candidate", "User") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the Portal.

3. User Accounts & Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate, truthful, and complete information during registration and at all times.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. Do not share login details with anyone.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account.
  • Each individual may maintain only one account.
  • You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You must promptly notify VerdeShell of any unauthorized access or security breach.

4. Candidate Obligations & Conduct

As a candidate using the Portal, you agree to:

  • Provide truthful and accurate information in your profile, resume, applications, and all communications with employers through the Platform.
  • Not fabricate, exaggerate, or misrepresent your qualifications, work experience, education, certifications, or skills.
  • Not submit applications using someone else's identity or credentials.
  • Not use the Portal to collect information about employers or other candidates for unauthorized purposes.
  • Not apply to jobs in bulk using automated tools or bots.
  • Respond to interview invitations and communications from employers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Use the in-app messaging feature only for professional, hiring-related communication with recruiters. Harassing, abusive, or spam messages are prohibited.
  • When using the mobile app, comply with the same obligations as on the web portal. These terms apply equally to all access methods.

Submitting fake or misleading information may result in immediate account termination, rejection of applications, and potential legal consequences.

5. Job Listings & Employer Information

Important — Please Read Carefully

  • Job listings on the Portal are posted by independent organizations (Employers) who use VerdeShell's recruitment platform. VerdeShell does not create, endorse, or guarantee any job listing.
  • While we review job postings before publishing and take measures to verify employers, we cannot guarantee the legitimacy, accuracy, or completeness of every job listing, company profile, or employment offer on the Portal.
  • VerdeShell is not responsible for any false, misleading, or fraudulent job postings that may appear on the Portal despite our review process.
  • We are not responsible for any employer's hiring practices, interview process, workplace conditions, compensation, or treatment of candidates.

6. Your Responsibility to Verify

You are responsible for your own due diligence. Before sharing personal information, attending interviews, or accepting any employment offer, we strongly advise you to:

  • Independently verify the legitimacy of the organization by checking their official website, registration details, and online presence.
  • Never pay money to any employer for job applications, training, equipment, background checks, or any other reason. Legitimate employers do not charge candidates.
  • Be cautious of job offers that seem too good to be true, request sensitive financial information, or pressure you to act urgently.
  • Verify the identity of the person you are communicating with before sharing personal documents like Aadhaar, PAN, passport, or bank details.
  • Meet for interviews only at legitimate office locations or established video conferencing platforms.
  • Research the company's reviews on independent platforms before engaging.

If something feels wrong, trust your instincts and report it to us immediately.

7. Platform Limitation of Liability

VerdeShell provides a technology platform only. We are not a party to any employment relationship, hiring decision, or agreement between Employers and Candidates.

VerdeShell is not responsible or liable for:

  • Fraudulent, misleading, or illegal job postings by Employers on the Portal.
  • Any misrepresentation by Employers regarding job roles, compensation, company details, or working conditions.
  • Financial losses, identity theft, or damages arising from interactions with Employers facilitated through the Portal.
  • Hiring decisions, employment outcomes, offer revocations, or workplace disputes.
  • Actions taken by Employers with your personal data after they have accessed it through the Platform.
  • The accuracy, completeness, or truthfulness of any information provided by any Employer on the Portal.
  • Any physical, financial, or emotional harm resulting from attending interviews, accepting offers, or engaging with Employers found through the Portal.

You use the Portal and engage with Employers at your own risk and discretion. VerdeShell's maximum liability, to the extent permitted by law, shall not exceed the amount you have paid to VerdeShell (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. No Fees to Candidates — Fraud Warning

VerdeShell does not charge candidates any fee — ever.

  • The Career Portal is completely free for candidates. There are no charges for creating an account, applying to jobs, attending interviews, or any other activity on the Portal.
  • VerdeShell will never ask you for payment, bank details, UPI transfers, gift cards, or any form of monetary transaction.
  • If any person, email, phone call, or message contacts you claiming to represent VerdeShell and asks for money — for registration fees, processing charges, interview scheduling, offer letter release, background verification, training, or any other reason — it is a scam. Do not entertain them.
  • VerdeShell is not responsible for any financial loss you incur by engaging with individuals or entities falsely claiming to represent us.
  • Our official communications come only from @verdeshell.com email addresses. We do not contact candidates through personal email accounts, WhatsApp groups, or unofficial channels.

If someone contacts you demanding payment in the name of VerdeShell, report it immediately to report@verdeshell.com and file a complaint at cybercrime.gov.in.

9. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent profile information, resumes, or applications.
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your qualifications.
  • Use the Portal to harass, stalk, or harm other users or employers.
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to extract data from the Portal.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, systems, or data.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Portal's infrastructure, security, or performance.
  • Use the Portal for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.

10. Your Data When You Apply

  • When you apply for a job, your profile information, resume, and application details are shared with the specific organization that posted the job.
  • Once an Employer accesses your data through the Platform, they are bound by our terms to use it only for hiring purposes. However, VerdeShell cannot control how Employers handle your data within their own systems after accessing it.
  • You should review the Employer's own privacy practices before sharing sensitive information.
  • You can manage your profile visibility and request deletion of your account at any time through your account settings or by emailing privacy@verdeshell.com.

11. Content Ownership & License

  • You retain ownership of all content you submit (resumes, profiles, cover letters, documents).
  • By submitting content, you grant VerdeShell a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and share that content with prospective Employers solely for the purpose of facilitating your job applications.
  • All Portal technology, design, trademarks, and intellectual property are owned by VerdeShell. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Portal without explicit written permission.

12. Reporting Fraud & Suspicious Activity

  • If you encounter a suspicious job posting, fraudulent employer, or any activity that seems unsafe, report it immediately to report@verdeshell.com.
  • VerdeShell will investigate reported violations and may take action including content removal, employer account suspension, or permanent termination.
  • We cooperate with law enforcement authorities when required and may share information in response to valid legal requests.
  • If you believe you have been a victim of fraud through the Portal, we encourage you to also file a complaint with your local law enforcement and the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Portal is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. VerdeShell does not warrant that the Portal will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VerdeShell, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Portal, violation of these terms, submission of false information, or infringement of any third-party rights.

15. Termination

  • VerdeShell reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice.
  • You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Portal ceases immediately. Data retention and deletion will follow our Privacy Policy.

16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of the Portal shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Portal. Continued use of the Portal after such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
