Piping Stress Engineer (Min 5 Year Exp)

 We are seeking an experienced Piping Stress Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in piping stress analysis for industrial projects. The candidate will be responsible for analysing piping systems, ensuring code compliance, and delivering optimised engineering solutions.  

Minimum 5 years of experience in piping stress analysis

Strong expertise in CAESAR II

Good knowledge of piping codes and industry standards

Experience in support design and selection

Understanding of expansion loops, flexibility analysis, and load optimisation

Exposure to static and dynamic analysis (wind, seismic, surge, etc.)

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Refinery / Power sectors

Familiarity with international project standards and practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed piping stress analysis using CAESAR II
• Prepare stress analysis reports, load summaries, and design calculations
• Analyse systems for sustained, thermal, occasional, and dynamic loads
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, such as:
  • ASME B31.3
  • ASME B31.1
• Review piping layouts and provide support recommendations
• Check and validate equipment nozzle loads
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (Piping, Civil, Structural, Process)
• Troubleshoot stress-related issues during the design and execution stages
