Process Engineer (Min 5 Year Exp)

 We are looking for a competent and analytical Process Engineer to support the design and optimisation of process systems for industrial projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing process deliverables, ensuring design accuracy, and supporting project execution.  

Strong understanding of process design fundamentals

Experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Refinery / Chemical industries

Knowledge of hydraulics, thermodynamics, and fluid flow

Familiarity with tools like Aspen HYSYS or Aspen Plus (preferred)

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering

Experience in handling process design deliverables independently

Exposure to simulation and optimisation studies

Preparation of PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams) and P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams)

Perform process calculations such as material & energy balance, line sizing, and pressure drop calculations

Develop and review process datasheets for equipment (pumps, tanks, heat exchangers, etc.)

Support hydraulic calculations and utility system design

Ensure compliance with industry standards such as:

• API Standards
• ASME Codes

Participate in HAZOP / HAZID studies

Coordinate with piping, civil, and instrumentation teams

Provide support during commissioning and troubleshooting
